Yeah, my theory is an estate sale, empty out all the drawers...


Up until about ten years ago I would still find say, silver dimes, I always presume someone cleaned out a drawer and not realizing dimes used to be silver just put it in his pocket and spent it. Even got a mercury dime about 20 years ago.

Haven't seen any lately, but if there's one in my change I'll notice it.
